we have our first women's MVC NCAA champion! Congrats to SIU's DeAnna Price, who won the hammer throw today, throwing a new NCAA meet record of over 234 feet!

Jianna Williams from Illinois State was 7th, so she made 1st team all american

Nikki Larch-Miller came up huge in the last event of the women's Heptathlon to get 8th place and earn 1st team all american honors!

also, Nikki Larch-Miller was 17th in the women's 110 meter hurdles, good for honorable mention all american

in the women's 4 x 100 meter relay WSU placed 16th, earning 2nd team all american honors!

Indiana State junior Katie Wise was 14th in the women's 100, (11.27), good enough for 2nd team all american

Indiana State sophomore Alethia Marrero qualifies for the finals of the 800 and will run again Saturday

Indiana State junior Kimyanna Rudolph places 8th in the women's pole vault and earns 1st team all american honors!

Illinois State's Jianna Williams places 15th in the women's shot put, good for 2nd team all american honors!

we have our SECOND MVC women's champion today! SIU freshman Raven Saunders uncorks a MASSIVE throw of 60-2.5" on her last throw in the shot put to take the win! That's a new all time MVC record for the women's shot put!

SIU leads the team standings with 20 points! Incredible! TWO wins today from SIU.
