It's sad that he didn't get to see his HOF induction which should happen soon.

I was never a fan of Ron Santo when he was playing...but I loved listening to him on the radio.

He didn't ever really do the job that a "color analyst" is supposed to do, but I loved the way the guy lived and died on every pitch of every game. He was kinda like the guy on the next barstool who was commiserating (sp?) with you on the ballgame.
