Tyler Bey signs with Bears

Just as Jame's Graham III enters the portal, Ford pulls another out of his hat and the Bears sign 6'9 Tyler Bey. Really interesting pickup in that Bey played for Overtime Elite this past year; he's rated the 155 th best player in this class by 247 and a 3 star. He had offers from Creightton, Miami,Fla., Depaul,Nebraska, and VCU. Out of nowhere.

Wonder what his story is. Had tons of offers two years ago, but nothing since last summer until Missouri Sate today.

He played in that 'Overtime Elite League" which I think is fairly inconsistent as to talent /level of play , so maybe he just fell out of focus . Watched him some on tape, he's not a power guy down low, has some perimeter skills and a decent shot . Who knows, just an interesting add out of nowhere for the Bears. He's our only freshman at this time.
