Evansville 2023 Commit

6-11 225lb PF Michael Day committed yesterday after a weekend visit to the school. Michael is previously from Idaho and is spending this year at Albuquerque Prep in New Mexico.

"He’s a high motor, athletic big that has great hands & feet. Great touch around the rim and can stretch the floor from 3." according to his coach.

Positive fall pick up for the Aces.

UE picks up its 2nd commit for 2023.
6'5" versatile wing Braylon Jackson from Oldsmar Christian in Tampa FL.

Oldsmar Christian history: 2017 State Champs -2016,2015,2014 State Final 4 -Most Division 1 Signees in Tampa History. 3 Current NBA players.

Evansville raps up there 2023 recruiting with 6'6" juco PG Tanner Cuff.Had offers from Oakland, UMBC,and Vermont. I can't remember if UE was done recruiting in November for the next t year in a long time.

Evansville picks up a commit from Chuck Bailey, 6’ 4” combo guard from Michigan. Rated as a 4 star recruit from ESPN, and a 3 star recruit from 247 sports and Verbal Commits.

This is an excellent get, and makes an already solid class for UE even better.

Evansville has completed its roster for 2023-24. Only four scholarship players and 2 walk ons remain from the 2022-23 team. The four players are Strawbridge Jr., Toumi, Bobe, and Kalle, all of whom were starters for all or most of the season. Kalle did not see much MVC action as he was hurt in January. The following are the new additions to the team.
6'2" Antonio Thomas - 5th year senior. Antonio spent his first two years at Bradley. He more than likely will be the PG to replace Coleman and Spinelli.
6'8" Ben Hunichous - Senior transfer from NAIA Huntington Univ. A 3 point threat coached by Steve Alford's son.
6'6" Tanner Cuff - Junior JUCO transfer. Broke his hand last season and did not play much. Listed as PG.
6'2" Cam Haffner - Sophomore transfer from Easter IL. Cam was the OVC freshman of the year and is the son of UE HOF Scott Haffner. 3 point threat.
6'4" Chuck Bailey III - Freshman PG from Detroit Michigan. Listed as 3/4 star recruit. 3rd team All state and 1st team All Detroit Area. His father played at Michigan and Detroit Mercy.
6'5" Braylon Jackson - Left handed freshman G from the Tampa FL area.
6'10" Michael Day - Freshman from Albuquercue Basktetball Club.
6-10" Josh Hughes - Freshman from the NBA Global Academy in Australia.
6'9" Gui Tesch - Brazilian freshman from IMG Academy in FL.
Three local freshman are also walking on to the team.
