Bradley Commit - 6-6 G - Dietrich Richardson

Bradley got a huge commitment tonight from 6-6 guard Dietrich Richardson. He is the best player in the Peoria area and plays at Peoria Manual HS. His dad is former Illinois player DJ Richardson.

The Home of the Braves NIL is as good as it gets in the league and played a huge role in getting Richardson. He is listed as a 6-6 PG and had Vandy as his other finalist.

The Chicago Sun Times has him as the top ranked recruit in the state of Illinois.

Did UIUC show interest given the family pedigree?

I don’t think so (fans think that has something to do with the Chip On My Shoulder comment he mentioned in the PJ Star). His P6 offers were on the lower end of the spectrum (Vandy, DePaul, etc)
