Loyola adds Tony Nixon

Transfer from Northern Illinois.

Will be a SR! I think he will help.

How do you Ramblers feels about this?

On paper doesn't look great since high school. But he wouldn't be the first to save his best yr for his last.

He will not be a starter. He is really just additional depth at PG.

Much needed depth at PG I might add. Our starter is a sophomore, and he's backed up by a nonscholarship Jr and a Fr.

We only had 11 scholarship players overall before today.

I hope it's a good opportunity for him and I think he will make some contributions.

Played as a true freshman against UNI in 09-10. Scored 9 points and had 5 boards in Cedar Falls in the game the Panthers held a 9 point half-time lead and didn't make a basket for the first 12.5 minutes of the second half but never lost the lead. Don't really recall him but that game was UGLY. I will remember it for a while.

I think I watched that game. Hard to remember. Could have been any of the other UNI games I've ever watched.
