Here's the article from goredbirds.com that talks about Andre http://www.goredbirds.com/news/2015/11/ ... 54401.aspx

Andre Washington | 6-8 | 195 | Forward | Fort Worth, Texas | Arlington Heights High School
Washington averaged 22 points and nine rebounds per game as a junior in 2014-15 at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas. For his efforts, Washington was a Class 5A first-team all-District 7 selection, while earning the district's Rebounder of the Year accolade. Along with Washington's inside scoring prowess, he also led his team in 3-point shooting percentage. A starter for the past two years, Washington averaged 15 points and nine rebounds during his sophomore season, while receiving all-district recognition. In addition, Washington averaged 10.2 points and 11.4 rebounds per game with the Marcus Smart YGC36 2016 Elite AAU program.

Muller on Washington:
"We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to welcome Andre into our Redbird family. Andre is a hard-working student-athlete who plays with a great competitive spirit, toughness and athleticism. He has a strong fundamental skillset that will continue to improve as a result of his work ethic and approach toward coaching and individual improvement. Andre's best basketball is ahead of him, and we are excited about what he can bring to our program and style of play in the years ahead."
