Am I missing something here? How did ISU land a guy that has 6 BCS offers on the table? Indiana State isn't even listed as one of the schools with interest on his rivals page. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-T.J.-Bell-92223

Don't know anything about the kid, but it appears like a big get for Indiana State.

Apparently no one can pass up the chance to play with Jake Godum.

Thats a pretty good get by the sounds of it. As soon as I saw "slowed progress" and "instability" I was thinking that the Sycs just went sifting through the BCS garbage can but it sounds like the talent is still there, it's just that moving situation thats to blame...hopefully for Indy St. he doesn't have the same attitude about changing college teams as he does changing high schools and travel teams. But perhaps the rest of the Valley will be hoping that after a few years ;)

Sounds like InSU may have gotten a steal here. As a season ticket holder, I like to see top kids in the MVC, no matter who they play for.

It looks like InSU may have a little momentum in their program as well.

Lansing has done a terrific job in his first year. Seems to be solid in all coaching aspects. Glad to see InSt. finally rising, along with EU, and hopefully DU. Its time to retake the "Valley of Death" moniker with its original meaning, as opposed to the moribund state of some of our conference basketball teams. ALL RISE!
