Actually, I think the two new assistants that Phelps hired last season have gotten him to change his ways a bit. I actually expect Drake to try to go uptempo this season. Of course, if you can't rebound, you can't run, and rebounding has always been the #1 weakness of Phelps' teams.

I am very interested in seeing Drake play in the upcoming seasons. Hopefully they don't continue to get crapped on by injuries

I hear ya....as bad as the injuries were for Drake last season, they might have been even worse the previous season. Women's team has also had several years in a row with major injury issues....makes you wonder about the strength and conditioning.

These two new signees, along with the return of Seth Van Deest will give Drake an inside game and inside depth that they sorely lacked last season.

Are they going to play right away? I guess I haven't looked into the Bulldogs depth lately but if they are that good I suppose Phelps has to in order to get some results.

They'll have too....Drake has lost about 80% of the lineup from last year.

Not true. 4 of 5 starters returning + Van Deest who was a starter for 2 years before missing last season.
