Strange case; he had originally gone on a Local radio station and said he was verballing to MSU,this was several weeks back. But we could never get confirmation and eventually it started to sound like he was going either prep or juco and was rumored to be going to Missouri State West Plains . But anyway, an interesting get for SIU. A very athletic but inexperienced young post player. Real potential to develope into a solid Valley frontcourt player. Good late get for a rebuilding future for SIU.

I had high hopes we were going to get him. He could have possibly been a real help for us inside. Congrats to SIU though.

One of the reason's he wasn't more highly recruited was that he qualified very late--had to take some courses and get ACT scores. We'll take him. Beggars can't be choosers. But since Barry got into the recruiting process for 2012 very late, Saluki fans are generally satisfied with the three high school recruits he got.
