There is Dave Reynolds PJ Star article about the Swopshire commitment.

6-6 SG/SF from St. Louis. Considered a good shooter, pretty good athlete, long arms. Reportedly chose Bradley over VCU and George Washington. Played the first half of this past season at Montrose Christian Academy.

He will certainly help increase the talent base and athleticism of the roster. That is Geno's primary goal right now.

Is he going to qualify? I know when kids hop around a lot the often forget the studies. Just wondered if there was any news on that front.

There hasn't been any talk of that. His brother played at Louisville and Northwestern and his two sisters play at UW-Milwaukee. What does that mean? I don't know but I don't think the kid is an idiot in that sense.

Not calling him an idiot, just anytime a kid has 2 or more transfers I get nervous. He had 3 in the last 12 months.

I totally understand the concern.

Swopshire was dismissed from Montrose Christian. He did not leave on his own accord.

I read that, when he visited MSU he me ruined he was really homesick as well and the dismissal was the push he needed to come back home. Should be a good player for the braves.
