And my sources confirm that McGee was down to Creighton and ISU before making his decision today. He canceled an in-home with WSU while in Omaha.

Probably missed on McGee but from scout.com:

"According to my source, reports on Tryus McGee to Iowa State are slightly premature. He has informed certain schools he's not going there."

"With that said, I expect him to make a commitment -- and I expect it to be Iowa State -- in the next 24 hours. But at this point he has not."

To be honest, I'm not super comfortable with CU going after a JUCO with 4 kids already in the soph class but this kid is said to be a freaking scoring machine.

I'm very happy with our recruiting class. The staff seems really well organized and did an excellent job recruiting for need. Should be a nice to class to build on. Coach Lutz seems to be a recruiting animal.

The fact that both Nevin Johnson and Austin Chatman spurned WSU in favor of Creighton is even sweeter.

Is there any coincidence at all that the second post you made on this site was made in regard to "spurning" WSU in something?

That in and of itself is worth losing a recruit that has the same potential and risk as any other.
