This is great to hear as "Teddy" is a top 150 recruit with multiple BCS offers. Maybe Yates can convince him to join up with him at CU. Having ESPN on campus when he's here doesn't hurt either. :bounce:

Sounds like a great get if you can land him.

Where's he a top-150 recruit on? I don't see him on ESPN or Rivals listed that way.

Can any WSU fans confirm he made an official visit the first weekend in October?

I saw that he made officials to Dayton and Auburn, but there was conflicting info about visiting WSU.

I believe Trop received word from a reliable source that he was in Wichita for a visit.

"Hawkins visit to WSU has not yet occurred. We are hoping to get his last visit. Creighton is involved and he will visit them this weekend for their midnight madness. Remember Creighton got Andre Yates and Hawkins and Yates have talked about going to college together. Hawkins high school coach however thinks WSU is the school to beat."

I took this as Hawkins coach thinking WSU is the school to beat for his last visit, not necessarily the team to beat in his overall recruitment. If you go on Shockernet, I think that is what Trop was trying to say. I could be wrong.

He was in the Rivals top 150 mid-summer but fell out with the last revision. Eric Bossi has stated that he is just outside but it looks like even if CU or WSU lands him theree will be no Rivals Top 150 players in the league this year as of signing day.

That said the level of recruit is quite good throughout the Valley this year and one or two jumping up into these lists is a possibility.
