Bradley filled one of its two scholarships that opened up this spring with a commitment from 6-0 PG Anthony Fields--a transfer from Wake Forest. He played about 8 minutes a game at Wake as a freshman. He will have three years of eligibility left after sitting out this season so that part is nice.
Pretty good get for Bradley. He is a true PG. Very, very, very quick. Pass first guy. Not a great shooter. Averaged 15 pts and 11 assists for his prep school which was one of the top teams in the country. Originally from Detroit. Had about 3-4 BCS offers out of high school.
Committed to Bradley and considered Stanford but did not make a visit. FWIW he is also a very good student and was Academic All-ACC last year.
