6'4" combo guard from Denmark via Gainesville, FL chose UE over S. Alabama, Stetson, and Florida Gulf Coast (among others).

Christian was also on the Danish U20 national team that won the Nordic championship in June. Congrats Christian!!!

I'm too familiar with the level of play in the Nordic region. I assume that it is a good accomplishment for the Denmark U20s though.

I'm not sure about the quality of basketball in that tournament either. I am having a hard time even finding stats. The only other ncaad1 player on the Danish team is Shavon Shields of Nebraska.

IMO playing in competitive games all summer should give him an edge on the Freshman that are practicing on their own or with former high school teammates.

He might an edge on them but not the freshman who were able to enroll in summer classes and participate in summer practices with their new teammates and coaches.

However, it is nice to have another player in the league who played on an under-20 national team and actually won something meaningful joining his soon-to-be teammate Mock in Evansville
