Staff absolutely loves this kid (Jake did the recruiting himself). They were thrilled to get him to commit before he blows up this summer. Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Michigan had started sniffing around.

He's the point guard that Jake envisioned Deon Mitchell being. Can create his own shot, passes really well and sees the floor very well but doesn't turn the ball over like Mitchell did. Being a bit shorter (listed generously at 5'10) is a bit of a concern, but he shows well against larger defenders.

This kid was the top priority in this class. Still two rides open for next year. I expect Ryan Kriener to commit very soon (6'9 traditional post player) and the last ride should be used on a long wing to replace some of the size that will be lost with Jesperson and Bohannon graduating...
