ISUr Commitment - Zach Copeland (6'4")

Illinois State received a commitment Saturday from Zach Copeland from San Fran, California. He chose ISUr over Nebraska and Colorado.

A great shooter (49% from the field, 47% from three, 86% from the line) and was named Northern California JuCo player of the Year.

Ranked #42 JuCo Recruit in the country.

Clarance and Copeland will make a dynamic duo in the backcourt of ISUr and should help replace Lee and Wills. The staff and fan base are thrilled with this one.

Excited for Copeland and Clarance, but think you better not sleep on Tinsley. ISUr beat out some pretty strong schools (including FSU) to get him to sign this past fall. Tremendous shooter as well.

Pretty excited for the ISUr class coming in. Wish my Aces would be doing as well on the recruiting trail.

Good point. I think Tinsley is #60 (ish) in JuCo top 100 in the country.

Our outside shooting percentages should improve immensely from the SG position this season.

Hearing Copeland is ineligible for this fall; can any ISU posters confirm or clarify his status??

This is true. He is ineligible this fall.

Sorry, yes correct. He is out all season.
