I thought I would start a list of 2018 MVC commitments. UNI got a top 100 player in AJ Green. Helps his dad is an assistant there. So far of the four 2018 commitments two have dads on staff at the schools they committed to.

Valpo landed Javon Freeman out of Whitney Young.

Those two guys were recruited by a fair amount of MVC schools. That's always interesting to me.

After having a very solid 2017 recruiting class, the Sycamores have 5 spots to fill in the 2018 recruiting cycle and got a GREAT first commitment a couple days ago in Terre Haute native De'Avion Washington.

Washington is an athletic wing that comes from Terre Haute South High School (Jake Odum's high school). He had offers from Temple, East Carolina, UNC Greensboro, Western Illinois, Ball State, IUPUI, New Orleans, and Valpo. Also had a few P5 schools kicking his tires towards the end of his recruiting process. Appears to be a very solid pick-up for the Sycs.

Indiana State got another one this weekend.

Blake Brinkmeyer a 6' 8" PF from Des Moine committed this morning. A 2* (verbal commits) prospect had offers from UNI, Air Force, SEMO, and North Dakota. Rated as a top 5 2018 recruit out of Iowa by most recruiting sites. Look to be another solid add for the Sycamores
