So far none of the Aces 3 recruits have de-committed or re opened their recruitment.
Only 1 signed a LOI,I believe it was Trey Hall a 3 star recruit. We only had 2 scholarships
to give. Then to top it off last years Mr. Basketball from Ohio,Samari Curtis transferred from
Nebraska at mid term, enrolled at UE and took our last scholarship. He signed after Walter
was put on leave not knowing who our coach will be,mind boggling

That's a good sign that recruits believe in the Evansville program and are committing to it. Get a solid hire and the program will be fine. I'm really interested to see who the new coach will be (I can't see McCarty escaping this situation with his job).

It's just a nasty situation for the fans, school, and the players. With DeAndre being injured we are not a very good team

I can only imagine. It's hard to win without your star and your coach. We've struggled at times without our second leading scorer. I hope the Evansville program makes it through this okay.

Hey I'm enjoying playing y'all twice annually again and the rivalry being built between our schools as private schools from Indiana. Even in the down state of your program both of the games between our schools were intense affairs that we felt lucky to escape victorious (especially on the road). You'll get there. You couldn't have picked a better hire in this situation I think. Hopefully you'll find a long-term successor for Lickliter and get the train rolling so that the Aces can become the program we all know they're capable of becoming.
