Bears get 1st commit for 2022

Bears get an excellent commit in 6'7 Jonathan Dunn of We are United Prep in Springfield. That's the Prep school being run by Robert Yanders , who also runs the Yander's Law AAU program . Dunn migrated from Hazelwood Central HS in STL mid term last year when it looked like there wouldn't be any basketball in STL last year. He averaged 23 ppg, 5 rbs, and shot 63% playing for Logan-Rogersville HS, a suburb of Springfield. He chose to sign on for a year of prep school to increase his D-1 options , but had already started to explode this summer with offers from Texas Tech, Missouri, among others. This kinda kid was built for the MVC, crazy athletic and has a big time motor and at 6'7 can play on the wing or at the 4 spot. Big get for Dana Ford and the Bears.

Yanders is turning out talent as the Bears have signed Isaac Haney this year& Missouri signed Brookshire and and Brazille all off Yander's Law AAU program. Between "We are United" and LInk Prep in Branson, some serious talent playing post HS in SW Missouri.
