UNI 2022- PG Trey Campbell

UNI got their first 2022 commitment from Trey Campbell, 6-4 PG from Cedar Falls. Long, skilled athlete that is at his best going downhill. Plus defender that will need to work on becoming a better outside shooter.

Picked UNI over a basketball offer from Virginia Tech and football offers from a dozen FBS schools including Iowa and Iowa State. He's an All State Wide Receiver as well. He will only play basketball.

Prevailing wisdom is that AJ is gone after this year and that Phyfe is going to stick around for the 6th year meaning that UNI has one ride left to fill and that it almost has to be a big.

Trey set the Iowa State long jump record at the state track meet today at 24' 2.5"........only to have it broken by Iowa RB commit Abu Sama by half an inch in the last round.
