Bears get 2nd 2022 Verbal

Bears are starting to reap the benefit of having a pair of nationally recognized prep schools within 40 miles as they got their 2nd commit for 2022, 6'7 Jalen Hampton from Link Year Prep in Branson. Bears had previously gotten a commit from 6'7 Jonathan Dunn from We Are United Prep in Nixa . Both players originally hailed from St Louis and played HS basketball there, Dunn at Hazelwood Central , and now Hampton who played at St Louis University High last year. There he was a 1st team 5A All Stater , averaging 19ppg and 6.9 rebounds. Had offers from Illinois Chicago, St. Bonaventure, Western Michigan among others. Coach Dana Ford continues to stockpile long athletic wing forwards on the Bear roster.
