Valley games for 9-18

Postby MoValley John » September 17th, 2010, 11:27 am

Come on guys! I'm really trying to follow what you are dong this year, I've got my game face on and I'm waiting to hear who is playing whom. What are the matchups this weekend? Who is going to win? What happened to the North Dakota State fans?

Anyway, I'm turning this over to the 1-AA gurus, let's get the talk going!
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

#30 Illinois State Redbirds travels to #21 South Dakota State, Saturday, 6pm CT.

According to one source, the game opened giving IlSU 9 points.

Pre-season: SDSU was picked 2, IlSU was picked 3.

Both teams have gotten off to rough starts:
-IlSU had a narrow victory over D-2 Central Missouri 55-54, and were beaten soundly by Northwestern 3-37.
-SDSU started off the season on the road at #12 Delaware. They fell to the Blue Hens 3-26.

I know it's early, but this game could be the key to get an at-large bid in November.

ISU/SDSU is a must win game for both teams, IMO.

Sam Houston State @ Western Illinois
#10 Stephen F Ausitn @ #13 Northern Iowa
Central Conn. State @ Youngstown State
Morgan State @ #23 North Dakota State
Illinois State @ #20 South Dakota State
SE Missouri State @ #5 Southern Illinois

Missouri State and Indiana State have the week off.

I like all the home teams except I think Illinois State beats SDSU in th eonly conference matchup of the week. The Bunnies looked terrible at Delaware.

Should be a good one in the UNIDome. Btw, I think SFA will continue to have their "Cramping" problem  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFojfG31enA
