After the first nine games, the Shockers know a little more about what it will take to win the Valley.

Many times teams have to town at the end of the year when the Bears were supposed to be tired, and they've always been turned back. I believe the Bears have won on Senior Day every year since 1985.

That Shockers game is on Senior Day. I'm not saying they can't win that game, but to expect to win simply because of depth seems like a reach to me.

I would say that the shoxs depth is part of their problem rotating so many guys into the fold has developed into almost no team chemistry. They play the game as individuals but lose as a team.

im not so sure that they play the game as individuals. Occasionally someone will try to be the hero and over penetrate, shoot a contested 3', or make an ill advised pass. Every team has that problem from time to time. Also there is chemistry out there, the problem thus far has been who plays point guard. Now that JRags and Dwills are playing more the chemistry has been growing.

Hold up, there are problems with the shockers at PG???? As I was told, and berated for saying that the Shockers didnt have the greatest PG play in the world, Their PG play was outstanding. WSU fans, that was an entirely a joke pointed at one of your posters! I really think you guys are in a suprisingly good position...

What are you talking about? It not like WSU is 11-8 with Mid 80's RPI, they are 15-4 with 44 RPI. Yeah, WSU has lost a couple close games at home, but it is not like their has been the collapse like the pre-season favorite had last year.

You don't go 4-0 on the road in the MVC winning by double digits with no team chemistry. You don't win a 3-OT with no team chemistry.

I don't know, Shocker PG's are averaging (Ragland/Williams)

11.4 ppg,
2.6 RBD,
3.6 assist per game,
1.6 Assist to Turnover,
0.8 Steals per game

If you just look at MVC only games
WSU offense is #1 Scoring and assist - is that a bad sign?
