Of course, watching their fans reaction and backpedal as hard as they did on the kid made me chuckle.

The Wichita fan base reaction on the facebook post with the announcement was every bit as classless as their coach.

Post angry I guess...

Wait for the meltdown when Austin Reaves announces he's coming to UNI...

That would be so fantastic, but will be spun from......we don't understand why he is leaving since he was going to be a starter but he must want to be closer to home.......to......HCGM has recruited much better players so he was afraid he was going to lose playing time.

Some have described the possibility as vomit inducing, but the majority are hoping UNI is the pick.

Don't start trouble, grad. I read most of the posts. Most were very congratulatory to the birds on their very fine get.

Until you know the detail, you might want to be silent. I cannot imagine that any shocker would be unhappy, if Austin chose the Panthers. I am sure that all shockers wish Austin the best.

Most were condescending and salty. What are you talking about?

Not starting trouble. Stating facts.

I saw the facebook messages live. Was not surprised by your reactions. Par for the course from your fan base.

Then I ventured over to your site. Some were congratulatory. Most were not. Saw everything from degrading ISU to what was once a prized recruit for you is not a project you dont want to deal with.

Hilarious. Enjoy your 2018-2019 season Ricardo. I'll have my popcorn ready.

Nah, you'll be fine. After all, it's a garbage conference and there's a ton of gimme's in there.

Great pick-up by the Redbirds. Next year is going to be a really fun race between Loyola and ISUr (and maybe SIU can hang around). Birds probably have the more talented roster top to bottom. But Loyola has experience returning some key contributors (Custer, Townes, Krut, Williamson) and has the coaching edge.

Hoping both teams have a great non-conference and can put themselves in the at-large conversation if Arch Madness doesn't work out.
