Personally I think he could have included Bradley and UNI in this article as well. They fit the bill as growing\maturing rosters I think.

Bol is not seven feet tall as the article says but he has seven footer length at a little over 6-8

I have to give him his due: it looks like Barry Hinson is really making some positive strides. He's adopting a modernized style of play and that Buffalo home and home is a brilliant scheduling get. Kudos to him for stepping up. I hope the rest of the schedule looks this good.

Bradley comes in at #91 0n Top 144 countdown--that means probably four teams in their top 100

I look at this as a very conservative estimate that they will be likely to beat. All else being equal it is much easier to see them dropping 30 and finishing at 61 than falling 30 to finish at 121. 81 would have been closer to my expectation.

If SIU is in the top 100 this probably means they will be named among the next few teams.

SIU will be in the top 100. The general consensus has them ahead of Bradley and behind Loyola and ISUr.

UNI #129/ Valpo #112/ and Bradley #91 so far---so if SIU, Il state and Loyola are left, that means Evansville, Indiana State, MSU and Drake are somewhere below 144

I think they made a mistake leaving Missouri State off this list. They're in that group of teams along with Valpo UNI and ISUb that is so difficult for me to slot 5-8.

They have a first year coach with marginal success at a low major. Yes, he has upside but nobody has them in their top 150. No reason to. You're just fooling yourself. I'm not saying they aren't that good just no reason to rank them there
