If WVU isn't returning the game, its a buy game. It's connected to the tournament to allow them to get the 13th non-conference game but WVU is paying them to go to Morgantown.

I was unaware campus site MTE's were still buy games. I'm not sure if that's correct. Even is it is that's not entirely Valpo's fault

I'm hoping the conclusion of some of the contracts we concluded while still members of the HL (SIUE and UCR) and being in a high profile MTE will open doors to better scheduling in the future. The multiple non-D1s, I hope, will not remain a part of our schedules going forward. Our schedule is better this year on balance than it was last year. We just need some time to get better series for the home fans. As we become more established in the MVC and start to perform better, that should start to happen for us. I agree our schedule needs work but it's not THAT bad.

I want all the MVC gripers to shut up now: SIU will play pre-season number one KENTUCKY on November 9 to start the season, also Buffalo twice and probably top 10 Nevada--non-con schedule up right now.

So, outside of the piece of crap Bradley is playing, everybody has done a great job.

I believe everybody except UNI has their schedule out at this point and even if the last 3 games are filler, UNI looks pretty good with what we know (Paradise Jam, ODU, Iowa, Grand Canyon, South Dakota State, Stony Brook)

Hope those last games aren't just filler. We need all the strength and opportunities we can muster. UNI's schedule does look pretty good so far though. Did I miss the releases for Drake Loyola and ISUb?

Loyola will start a home and home with Ball State this year. At this point I think Ball State should just become an MVC member. They're the fourth MVC team they'll play this year I think.

I know you're (probably) kidding, but I would never entertain this idea. I'll take the MVC to go 3-1 at the worst. MAC basketball... not good.
