I wonder if maybe a sound 7-3 thumping would cause the MWC to reconsider and allow us to become part of a tripartite agreement with them and the A10. It's best for everyone involved anyway. each team is home against one rival conference and away againstthe other each year on an alternating basis ensuring all participating teams 2 quality games and 1 quality home game each year.

I will take your advice. Bradley and Illinois State really are central Illinois schools. I underestimated the proximity to Springfield of both Bloomington-Normal and Peoria. All the same, get it done for the MVC on Saturday all right? Cheers fellas.

Another tie... Sigh... Since the challenge resumed following a 2 year hiatus in 2015 the Mountain West holds a slim 21-19 advantage with the last 3 years being 5-5 stalemates. Why exactly are we being replaced by the A10\not permitted to join with them? It seems to me that these two conferences are a good fit for each other and provide solid competitive games.

Indeed, a bit disappointing end to the series, but it could have been worse.
I think if the MVC had bigger markets (which is why we want Loyola to be good)we would have a better TV deals. Then I’m sure the MVC vs MWC would still be going on.
