North Dakota State can't even take over Summit League basketball. Now they're going to take over the MVC? Give me a break. SDSU makes sense but NDSU is clearly the tagalong school in any Dakota scenario.

Given the fact that NDSU has made the NCAA tournament 3 times (and won a game in 2014) in the past 10 years and won three conference titles I'd have to disagree with you. They also had 6 winning seasons in a row this decade. If you don't think they'll be back then you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Let him talk because it doesn't matter. They are behind Murray, Belmont, and NKU/Wright, and St. Louis. I realize some aren't coming and have already said so but out of five I'm sure 2 will so they have no chance unless they can convince Elgin to go to 14. ANd, if Elgin does go to 14 whats 2 more hours in the air (because most teams are flying to the Dakotas anyways) they might as well just add GCU and NMSU.

After the next round of major realignment I think Belmont will finally cave and come with Murray to make sure they don't get stuck in a bad spot for the future.

I think that will be that unless St. Louis ever decides to come (they have an open invitation) and if that ever happens they will go to 14 and maybe by that time that last team will have stepped up...Wright, Green Bay, NKU, Milwaukee, South Dakota State (I do think SDSU would come over by themselves which is what would have to happen in this scenario).

How Murray State didn't get a vote from literally EVERYONE who voted in this poll is beyond me. Add Murray IMMEDIATELY. If Belmont doesn't want to come SCREW THEM 11 teams 12 teams? Doesn't matter. Make #12 NKU Wright State freaking OMAHA for all I care. But the Racers NEED to be in this conference. With Belmont and Murray both having excellent years they could possibly both get bids at which point Murray State might tell us to stick it and who could blame them? The arguments against 11 NEVER made sense. I just hope the MVC doesn't pay for their inaction.
