Anthony James?

So who would you replace him with on the first team? Then James is having a nice season but his numbers arent what Rices and Ryans are and they are the focal points of those teams so teams can focus on them more than teams can focus on defending James.

Who votes? It is coaches, SIDs, or media?

Coaches, SID, beat writer and radio PBP all vote, with different weights.

There are only two players who are top 5 in scoring and reboundnig. McDermott is 4th scoring and 2nd in rebounding. Weems is 2nd in scoring and 4th in rebounding. Warren is 1st in scoring and 10th in rebounding. No other player is in the top ten in both categories. When is the last time anyone who finished top 4 in both categories was left off of the All MVC team? I doubt ever. Any voter that does not put him on his/her first team ballot should have voting priveleges revoked - freshman or not (assuming of course he continues to produce those types of numbers down the stretch).

Actually, what I find to be the most interesting is that Jermaine Mallet is the only guy that shows up on almost every statistical list in the conference. Scoring (8th), rebounding (12th), assists (6th), shooting percentage (5th), FT % (6th), steals (11th), 3 pt % (3rd), 3 pointers made (8th), assist/turnover ratio (5th), minutes (4th)....

and noone even mentions him for 2nd team. I don't think there is a more complete player in the league, maybe not the best, but definately complete.
