No surprise here. Pat Summit disciple coached like Pat Summit this season. Amazing in-season improvement.

Springfield at least milked a S16 out of her and she came close to flipping a late 13-pt deficit into an Elite 8 completely filled with 1s and 2s. S16 Bears loaded with youth so Harper’s successor should hit the ground running.

MSU should hire the coach they hired the last time a coach departed after a S16 so he’ll finally fulfill his NCAA Tournament dream.

Bahahaha, yes. Hinson should totally be the Lady Bears coach so that he can make the tournament.

But in all seriousness, if Tennessee offers to Harper there's no way Missouri State can match the money (obviously). We'll see if they think she's the right person for their program or not. Hopefully they decide they want someone a bit more seasoned. If Harper gets her dream job I'll be happy for her, but I sure would love for her to be the one to continue building the Lady Bears.

It hasn't been officially announced yet, but major outlets are reporting that Coach Kellie Harper is going to be the next head coach of the powerhouse Lady Vols. As I mentioned before, I'm more than happy for Coach Harper, as this is the opportunity of a lifetime for her. I hope she has immense success there, and I'll be rooting for her to shut up the doubters at Tennessee and prove her chops with a program like Tennessee.
