Baller,
I'm not sure how that paticular site determined noncon SOS, but in looking at the comparative noncon schedules between MSU and WSU, I found the only real difference was the game WSU was assigned by the league[San Diego State] vs the fact the Bears were not in the challenge this year. Minus that one game the average RPI for WSU's noncon opponents was 186.2, the Bears 165. Even with that game added in the average for WSU is 168, so again I'm not sure what factors they were using on that noncon sos tabulation. I'm not disbuting it, just saying it certainly isn't basing it off of relative RPI rankings. I also noted that WSU played their top three other RPI opponents on neutral courts[ UCON,LSU/Virginia] and played Tulsa in Wichita, while the Bears played true road games at Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Tulsa. I can't dispute the number reported above, and maybe it will be the one that determines any tie breakers, but I don't see that WSU went out and scheduled much tougher than the Bears based on the opponenets RPI's and the fact the SDSU game was assigned. Just another viewpoint.
Here are the comparative numbers:
WSU: 330,307,213,207,193,176,149,91,10, 4
MSU: 336,228,216,216,210,169,154,130,91,46,21
