I'll go if the Bulldogs finish in the top 6. I can't understand the concept of going when your team has no hope of winning. I'm glad other people are less demanding though.

I think it would be fun regardless, but the only time I went, we won.

You would go because there is always hope. Also, it would be a weekend away from home, plus there is no reason that you can't take in all of the games, not just the Drake games.

I have five kids so I only made it to a portion of the tourney once when I was in STL on business. But I would never hinge my decision to go or not based on my team's chances. I'd go because I wanted to watch basketball and hope my team won. I also wouldn't go home when my team lost, I'd stay and take in all of the festivities.

But that's just me.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

Took the train last year (it was a blast) from KC to the front steps of the arena. Arrivd at 12:30 for the 1:00 game. Jays blew a 13 point 1st half lead and were done. Had a great time for the remaining 2 days. Will be back next year. The bloody mary's in the club car were yummy.

Anyone know how much it cost the Missouri State group to rent the lower level bar near in Union Station near the exit as you walk to the arena? I thought that was a great location for fans to hang out before and after games.

Me and crew of 4-5 Braves fans will be back for 4th straight year. It's a great time both for watching a whole buncha basketball and perhaps for drinking a whole buncha beer.

I will likely be there this year. Some sort of informal meet and greet would be fun.

Last year I stayed at the Sheraton right across the street. It was reasonably priced for a 'downtown" hotel.
Super easy access being that close you don't have to worry about parking, buses or cabs. Enclosed parking and indoor pool/spa. I also had a free breakfast buffet with the room as I recall. I go to all the games so for me it was really convenient. There may be a package deal at the hotel where your team is staying.
