Krutwig affects the game in so many more ways on both sides of the floor than Green with passing, rebounding, steals, and scoring. He leads the league in rebounding(Green is understandably outside the top 15), 5th in points (Green is 1st), 5th in fg efficiency (with 80 more shots than his nearest competition in the top 10... Green is outside the top 15 at 42.5%), 3rd in assists (4.3 total, highest among centers in the nation, Green is 8th in conference at 3.0), tied for 4th in steals with 1.3 a game (Green is outside the top 10 with only .6 a game)...
That said, Green leads the conference by far in shots/makes from distance, and some of the ones he's hitting are pretty nuts; to the point where you CAN'T stop him. He was so dominant against Drake it's hard for me to argue with it. He is also playing an obscene amount of minutes, behind only Domask. And his team is also in first place by a solid margin. So I understand why he's the front runner, even though I'm sad it probably won't be Krut!
With all of his blocks, do we think Robbins has the inside track for DPOY?
