2020 6'4 shooting guard AJ James from Hargrave Military Academy has committed to Missouri State. He had offers from VCU, SLU, Murray St., Fresno State,East Tennessee St. among others. From Virginia.

Oh my God. I'm so sorry. I just sent a prayer up for his family his program his coach and for the Bears program and Coach Ford that was expecting to welcome him next year. Such a tragic loss.

Just senseless; was home visiting to watch his former HS play in a district final. One of those "accidental shootings" that happen at 2 in the morning under god what knows circumstances, but no criminal charges are being sought. So sad for his family. His sister is a 2021 Lady Bear prospect, although as a top 50 kid has lots of high level offers as well.

This is the exact reason people were all over Drake, and Drake fans, for the light punishment and excuses for Tremell. Just because Murphy's bullet wasn't a quarter inch closer to center mass and didn't kill him doesn't make it more okay.

Sickening tragedy. I can't imagine what a tough time his family is going through but I wish them strength. Very sad loss
