If I remember correctly, he had the tools to be THE MAN, at Mo State, right? Instead, he opts to walk-on at SC?

He came out a year early and it showed in that he really needed some weight/strength, but we sucked at pg so he got thrown in some last year. His ratings were strange in that he had a 4 star in one service, but was not rated in some others. He's from the Carolina area so no mystery as to why he'd walk on a P-5 SEC/ACC team from that area [ he had other options] especially with the covid issues. He's a top level student and had some Ivy League offers coming out of HS. He showed some promise despite his needing more seasoning and development; won't surprise me if a year or two down the line he's getting minutes at SC. Kind of a tweener in that he has a decent outside shot, and length defensively, but at 6'3 is a little high in his dribble for a pg . Don't think anyone thought he was "THE MAN" but yeah, he did start 5 games as a freshman and has potential as a D-1 player. No more over hyped than a lot of players coming in, but his was a strange recruitment as he was not even on many radars as a supposed 2020 kid, then we lost a couple kids[ most notably Harris to KU] and bam we offered, he reclassified, and here he was. If he had stayed at MSU, a red shirt year would have been a real asset to him.
