If geography (and point of first case) didn’t matter then a comp of Italy or the U.K. might matter, but in Scandinavia where first cases all happened about the same time, all the countries have similar social norms, and similar climate, Sweden has a much higher fatality rate per capita.

As per your Stanford study, a recent study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine Refuted that hypothesis and states the Sweden is nowhere near herd immunity. https://www.rsm.ac.uk/media-releases/20 ... terialise/

Put it like this, if MVC were in Sweden, we (the MVC that is) would be playing basketball. Please note, there are many "experts" who have a vested interest in keeping the panic alive and well.

Decided to not post anything even remotely political.

181,000 Americans dead (with some number undercounted)

But I’m sure it’s some kind of political or monetary grab...

I am quite familiar. I have also seen the mental gymnastics that say that one group or another is capable of world conquest while at the same time thinking that some guy on the Internet has it all figured out.

What you are seeing is a system where people have placed bets on any possible outcome- someone always wins whenever other people lose. It doesn’t make them geniuses or world dominators, it’s just someone else turn in the barrel, if you have heard that old joke.

In reality, we are creating a perfect spreading ground for a disease that kills people. But you and I are on the internet talking about sports. In them end, one is important. The other is a game.

We, as a community, do not need this sort of thing posted here. I don't know why it was.

I thought we were talking about Coronavirus. What is the problem with some enlightenment on the subject?
