That is an interesting take.
They've struggled some since joining the AAC. Joined because of UCONN and Cinci. UCONN is now gone. Cinci still wants out. They don't get TV money (any?) because they don't play football. The coach that got them the invite to the AAC is now gone.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens. I can't imagine they have the cash to splash to go after a big name coach - though I've seen Matta (but he turned down UGA).
Covid money issues everyone is facing. Koch and the university have had tensions over political issues as well this year. Could be real interesting to watch play out.
