MSU got it's probably only early recruit today for the 2021 class in local standout 6'2 guard Isaac Haney from Springfield powerhouse Kickapoo HS. Haney who played his previous 3 years at small town school Dora Mo, led that school to last years Class A [ smallest in Mo] state title, was runner up the year before, and was twice the small school POY in Missouri. He averaged 31 ppg as a Jr and 27 ppg as a soph. He transferred to Kickapoo this summer after playing AAU ball for former Bear, Robert Yanders, along with several Kickapoo teammates, 2 of which will sign with MU today. He's a bit slight in build and while his HS comp to date was so-so, he has played against/with excellent talent at the AAU level. He plays with a lot of moxie for a small school kid when I've seen him. As is usually reported, he received a lot of higher level interest after verbal to MSU early this year.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!
