Agree. We make one more FT and is anyone talking about Drake?

Drake showed some real toughness in gutting this game out.

This was the Drake team I've been used to seeing this season. A lot less stressful than yesterday.

Tremell and Tank had outscored ISU by themselves when they came out of the game with 8 minutes left. (48-46).

Good to see all 16 guys get into the game.

I guess Drake didn't play poorly yesterday. That said, if Drake didn't play poorly yesterday, I wonder how to describe today.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

I am so on the Drake bandwagon! Might buy some gear.

I can’t wait for Loyola to taint that undefeated record. All in good spirits here, I’m glad the Valley has two teams that getting some national recognition.

I'm hoping both teams are ranked by the time they play. I think if both teams take care of business this weekend, they will be.

Agreed, that would be the most exciting valley matchup that I've ever seen (haven't been a fan for that long).

As a Redbird fan trying to make himself feel better, I wouldn't say Drake played poorly on Sunday. Muller's game plan for Sunday was to try and take away what Drake likes to do- get in the paint/attack the basket. The Redbirds played some really nice defense and made Drake shoot 30 3's, only making four of them.

Now, last night, as good as Drake played, the Redbirds played terrible. They really showed what a difference age/maturity makes. Did I hear correctly that the average age of Drake's starting lineup was over 22 years old? The Birds are throwing out two 18, two 19, and a 21. ILST showed mental and physical fatigue pretty much from the opening tip. Freshmen PG Howard Fleming Jr and Wing Emon Washington are the only two that played with complete effort in both games. Unfortunately, it takes more than two players to win a game.

As far as Drake vs Loyola, I'll look forward to tuning in. Broadie vs Krut will be a fun match-up.

Can't wait either. Krut shut down Prim. And Williamson/Uguak shut down Mosley. Excited to see what they can do against Drake's dynamic offense.

Right now, both the 2/13 and 2/14 games are listed as "ESPN2 or ESPNU". Really hope ESPN2 picks both up...and maybe we even get College Gameday in Des Moines if both teams take care of business these next few games.

We're a hip surgery away as a league from talking about 3 bids...
