Looks a little risky for Bradley; they don't get either of the majors in the opening game and if they lose to CSU, they get Brown. SIU at least assured of a major in he opener.

If the bracket went chalk Southern and Bradley would probably meet in the 5th place game, but hopefully the Colorado teams run into some trouble against the Valley.

Sources: Kansas, Alabama, Miami, Dayton, Drake, Iona, Belmont, and North Texas will headline an Orlando based MTE next season in November.

Kansas-Drake first round match up, anyone?

My guess for Orlando seeds

#1 KU
#2 Alabama
#3-4 Dayton or Drake (Drake might have advantage with roster return for higher seed)
#5 Miami (unless ACC name ranks them higher)
#6 Belmont
#7 Iona
#8 North Texas

Sounds like Vanderbilt is in for NMSU.

Great get for Drake. Five of the eight were tourney teams last year. And the other three are an ACC team, a team that was #1 in the country before COVID paused everything in 19-20 (and has a reloaded roster this upcoming season) and a mid-major power that missed the tourney this year due to injuries.

The likely #1 and #2 are in big time MTEs. Then UNI is in a solid, but winnable MTE (a win over BYU would look really good). Any word on Missouri State's MTE?

Expect Colorado State to be the only projected top 40 team in the field, above the 'majors.'
