I don't read too much into that. He's just using PR speak to dodge the question. It's a nothingburger for me.

If there were no conference realignments going on, I’d say it meant that there was something off-putting about Murray State. But in the midst of a significant reshaping of conferences, I’d say it meant other opportunities have presented themselves and they will take the time to evaluate them all.

Why not grab Murray now and then look at the other opportunities from a position of even greater strength? We can always get bigger if the right adds are there but adding Murray State allows us to be even more selective in who we add in the future...

I think some may getting a little paranoid here. I am not sensing a thing from this article concerning the Racers. Until the league office or MSU says something we can be sure there is still something brewing.

Belmont was decisive and quick,Murray is up in the air and slow.
So one of two things happen. One the conference stays at 11 and rewards
the conference champ with a 1st round bye.And two the conference starts
courting other schools and if one joins then Murray doesn't have a date for the prom.
