MVC should either stay at 10 or do 11/20 with Murray State. It's not that complicated. Adding anyone else is a mistake and makes the Valley look desperate.

I hope you mean until they make the tournament (assuming they do) then we should all hope they leave some more credits behind on their way out the door.

I don't think adding a school like NKU makes the MVC look desperate. Same with South Dakota State or even Wright State and North Dakota State but beyond that I certainly agree. 11\20 with Murray State would be the best option just like it was in 2017 but there are still a few schools we could add to get to 12 or even perhaps 14 without looking too bad (not that I would necessarily advocate getting that big at this time).

I agree with you on NDSU, SDSU, and NKU; but everyone else is trash. I also think we might be in hard discussions to go to 13 because Missouri State or someone else might be leaving too. Going to 13 makes zero sense.

MSU is a large State University approaching 30,000 students. It has great facilities, a nationally ranked football team, a nationally ranked soccer team, a nationally ranked hockey team and a nationally ranked WBB team. Think what you want, but we will have several opportunities to move if we chose to. I really think[ and I'm not saying we will get that chance] that the Administration wants an AAC bid down the line if WSU and Tulsa remain part of that conference. Just makes sense , but who know at this point. Congrats to Loyola, a sensible move for them that might ultimately put them in the BE discussion.[/quote]

Of those close to 30,000 students you mention, approximately how many were at the game vs UNI? Win a couple of FCS National Championships and then we'll discuss further a move for Da Bearz.

The MVC needs exit fees bad. Should've happened after Wichita left.

Money isn't an obstacle for Loyola

We do. Loyola isn't getting a dime of the league's NCAA money.

If it's 13, I'd imagine we'll go to 22 league games with 10 double plays and two singles.

Arch Madness stretches into Wednesday. That's kind of fun unless you're 12th or 13th.

12 v 13

8 v 9
5 v 12/13
7 v 10
6 v 11

1 v 8/9
4 v 5/12/13
2 v 7/10
3 v 6/11

You could even just not invite 13th place.
