MVC going to 12 with UIC and UTA?

Murray State board of regents to have a special called meeting this Friday. The agenda is conference affiliation. Gotta think this means we’ve gotten an invite.

Could it just be " If we get an invite we will accept it?"

No way they would go through that again. As MissouriValleyUnite stated in this thread that meeting in 2017 was BEFORE the president's meeting when there was no reason to expect an invite was coming. This meeting is AFTER the presidents have met which means there is a reason to expect that an invite is coming. This is a huge difference. Again I'm waiting until official word before celebrating but I really think it's happening!

It's a special called meeting with the only item on the agenda being athletic conference affiliation.

To me this means an invitation has been issued and the Board of Regents is formally accepting.

Hope this is happening! Murray to the Valley is hands down the best and only move the conference should be taking to follow up Belmont.
