Please reply if you'd like more Loyola fun facts.

What happened the last STL meeting?

Loyola holds a 15-7 overall record against Bradley since joining the Valley, including a 3-1 record in St. Louis.

Yeah, I'd forget about the last matchup too if I were you.

I've gone from mostly ambivalent toward who we face on Friday to badly wanting Loyola. It's just a shame Bradley AD Chris Reynolds is only Vice Chair of the Committee this year and doesn't take over until next year because it would be fun to see his interview after the Selection Show explaining why Loyola doesn't deserve a bid. I honestly don't know if you'll have a friend in the room as Drake likely did last year.

Loyola holds the NCAA tournament record for largest margin of victory with its 69 [nice] point drubbing of Tennessee Tech in 1963. The 111-42 victory has withstood the test of time.

It still baffles me that some Loyola people still wonder why the rest of the league hates them right now. It's the few nice ones that I feel bad for while the rest of their fan base makes them look bad.

You literally posted, "Loyola sucks", unprompted, and then act all BAFFLED that Loyola fans are replying. I don't fault any MVC fans for ripping on the school leaving. I probably did the same to WSU when they left. But don't expect Loyola fans to just be silent or take the ripping.

Anyways, since you seem to be enjoying them SO much:

In the 2021 NCAA tournament, the Loyola Ramblers won two tourney games. Those two wins were more than Creighton (the team Loyola replaced) was able to get in any single tourney during its 57 total years in the Valley!

Except the difference is that I was trolling and you seem to be very much invested.

Ah yeah, that justifies it! Wouldn't expect any Loyola fans to respond to your "trolling". Since I am trolling too, maybe you shouldn't be so invested.

But since you keep replying and seem to be enjoying these:

In Loyola's nine years in the Valley, it won six NCAA tournament games. That is DOUBLE the number of tournament games Bradley won since post-1955!

Or how about this one? Of current MVC schools, Loyola is tied for the fewest number of NCAA tournament appearances (2) over the past 30 years!

This fact is still fun!

https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/c ... story.html

ST. LOUIS — Marques Townes and Clayton Custer roamed the court aimlessly after the final buzzer sounded, ignoring everyone and everything while in their own bubbles of disbelief and disappointment.

Each Loyola senior lifted his jersey and wiped his eyes with it.

A season after baptizing legions of new Loyola fans with their dazzling storybook March en route to a historic Final Four run, the Ramblers won’t make the NCAA tournament after their 53-51 loss to Bradley on Saturday in the Missouri Valley Conference semifinals.

“Our goal was to get back there,” Townes said. “I was sitting on the bench before the game, just before they announced the lineups, and I was looking at the little video board and I almost wanted to cry because I was just so excited to get out there and play. To realize now that was our last chance to get to the tournament for me and Clay, it hurts.
