To be honest, both sides probably will be better moving forward.

Exactly, Loyola gets the cultural fit that they've been looking for (which everyone has acknowledged from the beginning) and the Valley gets two basketball programs that fit better in the league and stays in Chicago with a school that's much more culturally like the rest of the league.

Everyone gets what they want just don't try to tell us the A10 is some massive basketball upgrade because it simply isn't.

Hey, that's not fun.

It is for me.

When has anyone ever said it was some massive basketball upgrade? All that’s been said is that as of recently (past decade), the A10 has gotten more bids, has better kenpom rankings, and tends to get more love from the media. The A10 vs MVC argument should be fun going forward because I honestly have no idea which league will be better.

You’re either arguing in bad faith or barely read Twitter and your own board. I just went to your message board and click on today’s game thread and 4 posts in you read: “ Last regular season game in the Valley. You’re stepping up to the A10, telling the whole league that you’re better than them. Show them why and win the conference tonight. ” Enough with the gaslighting woe-is-us schtick.

Loyola just lost and finished 4th seed in the Valley.

Please reply if you'd like more Loyola fun facts.

I’m talking about this forum…. Twitter or Ramblermania was never mentioned. I didn’t realize other fans even lurked on other team forums.

Count the number of Loyola ships as a ratio to total years in the Valley...vs every other team. You might be surprised how "fun" it is.

The program you mock might be keeping your athletic department afloat though. Be careful.

Bradley specific fun fact (prior to this season).

Loyola goes 88-89 in MVC, makes the tournament twice in eight years, and wins the title 3 times.

Wardle in 6 is 48-63 and had to go through a complete true rebuild (which Loyola didn’t). Never won the title and haven’t finished higher than 3rd (which we hadn’t finished that high since 2000-2001). Wins the tournament twice and danced twice (well minus COVID)… exactly the same amount of tourney titles and appearances in two fewer years.

While I want long term success when asked would you rather be Creighton/UNI (tournament masters) or Wichita most fans would prefer Creighton/UNI. I’d wager to say that 90% of Loyola fans wouldn’t even get that reference because y’all were never in the MVC long enough to, you know, actually BE a true part of the Valley.
