Does Lowery need Rodney Watson back to win? Why not just bring back Weber?

What is wrong with me wanting SIU to return to a winning a program? Ever since Creighton and Wichita State left the conference, SIU has been in shambles when we should be a dynasty dominating the other dumpster fires in the league. Bring back Lowery and do it today!

Lowery didn't build it last time; he presided over making SIU basketball a dumpster fire.

Butler made the right choice in bringing back a legend. Time for SIU to make the move and Lowery could bring Nijel Pack with him who would dominate in the Valley!

Thad Matta (a former Saluki, by the way) didn't preside over making Butler an embarrassing dumpster fire.

The program that Lowery inherited was not the program he left behind.

Next argument?

I agree. This person, for some strange reason has a grudge against SIU.
IF Lowery was/is such a great coach, why hasn't a P5 school offered him a head coaching position? From what I can remember, he was given a top 25 program, and within three years completely destroyed it.
Go away troll.

This person is a troll who has been perma banned on every SIU board that has existed. Just ignore it and it goes away.

I wish people would wise up and quit blaming Lowery for the destruction Kevin Dillard caused the program. He single handedly destroyed 2 strong programs and many SIU fans want to give him a pass. I don’t get it. This is why we celebrate mediocrity today and it disgusts me.

Stop. Who recruited Kevin Dillard?
