Right now, I think that's the 5 in no particular order, Drake/UNI/MSU/Bradley/SIU. But it's gonna be a year of curiosity with 3 new members, newer regimes at both ISU's etc.; someone unexpected probably makes a move. Lot of summer to navigate though still, rosters still in flux across most teams.

If Green comes back that obviously changes everything, but UNI is going to have to hit some transfer home runs to compete next year without him. Obviously too early to make any hard and fast claims with rosters being fluid, but right now I like Ind. St. as a dark horse to move up and surprise. Looks like 5 senior starters and improved size on the perimeter.

A core of Born, Heise and Michael Duax (Redshirted but would have played a ton last year without the COVID super seniors) is pretty solid and is in that top 5 group regardless of Green coming back.

After tweeting K-State’s HC with a warning Noah Carter of “North Iowa” would be entering the transfer portal in 3 days (and K-State not biting), Noah Carter’s dad is now complaining that the school did not tweet out Noah’s statement when he entered the portal.

And his brother, sister and cousin have all now chimed in with vague claims of racism.

That family has always been a clown show and now they're out there for all to see.

Anyway, from a basketball perspective this absolutely sucks but UNI still has a sold core and Ben Jacobson still exists so UNI will be fine. Hopefully this makes AJ a whole bunch of money. I've never seen a player that works that hard and he will have earned every dime of it.

Dont know much about the Carter family but Noah's dad sat about 5 feet from me when they came to Gentile this year. If you dont recall Noah played like absolute dog s*** that game, and his father was beyond embarrassing the way he was acting during the first half, then for the second half I cant recall him looking up from his phone at all just totally checking out from supporting his son and the program. Based only off of that the stuff I'm seeing from the entire family on twitter right now makes perfect sense. He will transfer again I can almost guarantee it.

He spent most of the games in Cedar Falls standing up screaming at AJ to pass it to 'the real scorer'.

He entered the portal last year too because Dad had 'connections' with Shaka and then Shaka didn't even know who he was.

He couldn't guard wings in the Valley so those trips to Kentucky and Arkansas should go great for him.

I don't think anybody around the program is too sad to see him go.

I was also sitting nearby, my seasons tickets are near the visitor bench. Carter's father is the one parent that stuck out over all the conference games and it wasn't for the right reasons. This twitter drama only backs up that he's a kook.

More Noah Carter family members piled on including the brother who called UNI a “fraudulent ass program”.

Gary Rima responded to Carter’s Dad about what a team actually is and had one tweet with 56 likes.

Noticed on some tweets talking about how much trouble the family is that the likes included players (Berhow) and parents. Seems the Carter family burned every bridge in that program. They only hurt Noah, who must’ve been in an awful position at UNI with all his teammates and their families knowing how goofy his family is.
