Gary Rima responded to Carter’s Dad about what a team actually is and had one tweet with 56 likes.

Noticed on some tweets talking about how much trouble the family is that the likes included players (Berhow) and parents. Seems the Carter family burned every bridge in that program. They only hurt Noah, who must’ve been in an awful position at UNI with all his teammates and their families knowing how goofy his family is.

Noah seems like a good kid and I loved his passion for the game. I truly hope he has success in the future.

His dad represents everything that is wrong with sports today from youth through professional.

I, too, think that people are undervaluing Missouri State some. They will miss Prim for sure, but seem to have upgraded the losses of Black/Sharp and added a lot of other pieces otherwise. I dont think Mosley will be drafted and a return is looking more and more likely, so you're looking at:

KEY RETURNERS

Mosley
Clay
Patterson
Haney

TRANSFERS
Moore (Arkansas transfer, Top 100 4*, rarely does the league get these type of adds)
Ridgnal (UGA transfer, Juco all american)
Trimble (Akron/St Johns)

FRESHMEN
NJ Benson (highly touted big man, tons of solid Mid Major offers)

Johnathan Dunn (local kid, Texas Tech offer turned down, high motor guy that wanted to be a Bear)

Jalen Hampton (STL kid, another Prep school kid, freak athlete that can score)

Damien Mayo (Another prep school kid from Link, who is quickly becoming on the same elite level as Oak Hill, Montverde, etc, and Mayo was the captain of the bunch and seems like he can do a little bit of everything.)

Once again I put the talent level right up there with any team in the league. Dana will have the Bears a Top 3 team every year it seems. Im just not convinced that they're a 5th or 6th place type team like others are forecasting. I guess we'll see.

Actually, Dunn isn't local originally, he Hampton and Mayo are all St Louis kids who played 2-3 years there first. . Dunn actually played one year HS in Springfield , after the PHL in St Louis was having covid problems and he transferred here to play, really tore it up [ 24 ppg] and then played at "We are United " this year. Benson is important cause we need to replace Prim, but Dunn , Hampton and Mayo are pretty solid for freshmen coming in because of the level they played at Link and We are United.

Add to the list 6'9" Johnathan Mogbo, top 30 juco prospect out of NEO A&M. Ford continues to pull in players.

Lots of good Prep school connections right now down in Southwest Missouri. Will be big for the Bears if they can get/maintain a prospect pipeline going.

In fairness, the discussion was based on what each team had RETURNING from last season - not speculation about recruits. Every fan/team thinks they have difference maker recruits.

Add Antwan Kimmons.

Has a young daughter in the Twin Cities and wants to be near her. I'd imagine St Thomas, St Cloud or Mankato.

Just never clicked here with COVID and lack of minutes and recruited over with Born and Campbell.
