SIU has finally found an AD. Good to see that. Do we know anything about their non-con schedule?

It is looking like a very disappointing home non-conference schedule. St louis was scheduled to play in Carbondale and now the game is going to be in St Louis again. No other home games look appealing.
SIU's MTE is marginal at best with SIU playing UNLV and the winner/loser of Cal Baptist/Minnesota. The other non-conference games so far are.

Home

Little Rock
Alcorn State
Tennessee State

Away
St Louis
Semo

3 games still to be scheduled.

This looks to be Mullin's best team but the schedule will put SIU in the win the Valley tournament or bust as far as the NCAA tournament looks.

RIght now it's looking as if both SIU and Bradley are letting the league down with their non-conference schedules. Both teams should be good and contending. They should schedule as such with at-large berths in mind, not accumulating wins.

Mullins said they they were searching for a buy game against a P5. Not sure if they end up with one or not. Hearing rumors that the game against SEMO will be on December 22. Overall, this schedule will probably be a step above last years, but not nearly as good as they need to schedule at this point.

More than a third of the league needs to take scheduling seriously. Bradley and SIU are the worst offenders but Valpo and Missouri State aren't innocent either.

Evansville is really the only one with an excuse and even they haven't done awful.

Might be a bit premature to characterize SIU’s schedule as worst-offender material. They’re playing Saint Louis, UNLV and Minnesota if they beat UNLV in that tournament. Still a few games to schedule and, as mentioned, Mullins indicated they’re trying to add a power conference opponent.

Not saying it’s going to be a great schedule, but maybe pump the brakes a bit.

I'm expecting Bradley's schedule to be mostly reclassifying schools, and not the good ones, either, as we were supposed to have Bellarmine, but that game was dropped. We already have Merrimack and Stonehill.
